Searching for the Intercity connections, checking the train punctuality, offers and information important for train passengers – such opportunities are provided by the IC Mobile Navigator application, prepared by the PKP Intercity for users of mobile devices.


Searching for the Intercity connections, checking the train punctuality, offers and information important for train passengers – such opportunities are provided by the IC Mobile Navigator application, prepared by the PKP Intercity for users of mobile devices.
 
The application is available for iPhone, iPad and smartphones with the Android operating system. Using it is simple and intuitive. After opening, a browser appears on the screen where we define start and end station and time and hour of the journey.
 
After clicking “search”, suggested connections appear. Their list may be expanded by earlier and later trains.
 
A chosen route may be remembered in a “Planowane” [Planned] folder so as to check ongoing timetable of the trains without entering start and end station every time.
 
The IC Mobile Navigator will also suggest what kind of cars the train is composed of and how to get to the railway station (you must click “Prowadź do” [Take me to]) - it is extremely useful especially when we are in a city you are not familiar with.
 
The application is integrated with the Infopassenger system, which makes it possible (in the “Opóźnienia” [Delays] folder) to check punctuality of a selected train at all stations along its route in a real time. During the journey, we will know exactly where we are and whether we will arrive at the end station on time.
 
The applications is equipped with the “Info” folder where a user can find useful tips before and after the journey, information about PKP Intercity offers and suggestions for those who want to use train for business journeys.
