Mobile Pass
When buying a mobile pass (mPass), you will receive an e-mail containing the mobile pass code and instructions for activating it in the Rail Planner app.
How to activate a mobile pass
Download the Rail Planner app to the device you will be using during your journey.

Step 1 - Add your pass in the application
Open the app and go to the "My Pass" section where you can add a pass by selecting the "Add your Pass" button.
Enter your name and the mpass number that was sent to you in your order confirmation email. You will also find the number on your receipt.
Traveling in a group
You can add multiple passes in the app, but keep in mind that once you activate them and start traveling, transferring to another device will not be possible. In this case, the group must travel together on all connections.
Traveling with child
Child Pass is not valid without an Adult Pass. Each Child Pass should be added to the app on the same device as the pass of the adult with whom the child is traveling. Children under the age of 4 can travel for free and without a pass as long as no additional seating is needed for them.

Step 2 - Connect the trip to your pass
To record journey details and access the pass:
- Create a new trip and give it a name.
- Choose the trip created earlier from the list.
If more than one pass is connected to your device, a separate trip must be created for each pass. If you've created a journey in advance, you can duplicate it for each of the passes.
You can easily add connections from the planner to several trips at once.

Step 3 - Activate your pass
Before you can travel, you need to activate your pass. To do this:
- Fill in the number of your passport, identity card or other document that you will be traveling with. A match between the document and the data entered in the application may be verified by the ticket inspector while on board.
- Select the first day of travel. Your pass will be valid from this day. If you are not sure when you want to start your journey, you can come back to this step later, until the day you actually start traveling.
Please note that you cannot board a train until you have activated your ticket.
You can activate your ticket up to 11 months from the date of purchase.
How to use a mobile pass?
To travel with a mobile ticket, your travel details must be recorded in the app. Once you have searched for the connection you are interested in and added it to your journey, a day ticket will be generated. This ticket will be checked by the ticket inspector.
Search for connections using the "Planner" and "Stations" tabs. The "Planner" tab enables you to search for connections between stations, while the "Stations" tab provides access to connections from a particular railway station.
Tap to save the connection you want to travel on.
In the "My Trip" section, use the slider to add selected connections to your ticket. If you have a Flexi Pass, you must first define the day of travel for which you want to add a connection. You can do this in the "My Pass" section.
1. Plan your trip
2. Save journey
3. Add a journey to your pass
Show your ticket for inspection
A separate day ticket is generated for each day of travel with a barcode and details of all connections scheduled for that day.
To display the ticket for a given day go to the "My Pass" section and tap "Show ticket" button.
The ticket inspector will scan the barcode and verify that the personal details on the day ticket match the document presented for inspection. If you have more than one pass linked to the device you will have to show the day ticket for each pass in the same way.
