Cracow
Cracow is one of the most often visited tourist spots in Europe.
A former capital of Poland, it boasts the largest Medieval market square in Europe registered on the UNESCO list. The Saint Mary’S Basilica, the market square and Cloth Hall are part of the most important Polish historical heritage. Up to this day their style and grandeur inspire awe.
Tourists cannot miss the Wawel Hill on the banks of the Vistula river with its Royal Castle and the Cathedral, where Polish kings, bards and political leaders are buried.
Cracow is a city of churches. Among the most notable there are: Church of St. Anne, Saints Peter and Paul Church, and St. Joseph Church.
When leaving the old town, one should visit Kazimierz – a place of distinctive ambient, where once Polish and Jewish cultures coexisted and which now is the centre of night life.
