Transport of items (including baby prams/pushchairs)

As hand luggage at no extra charge, you can take your easy-to-carry items - those that fit easily on shelves above the seats, in free spaces underneath the seats or in other places designed for this purpose (marked with an appropriate pictogram).
Therefore, pack your stuff smart: o additional charges are due provided that your fold the bike or baby stroller for transportation. Such sizes are in those cases regarded as hand luggage. Moreover, if you are travelling with a child, you can take an an unfolded stroller on the train.
When do I have to pay for luggage?
- If you carry items which are easy to move, but their size exceed the available space over and underneath the seat and in any other designated area, marked with the appropriate pictogram. Then you have to buy a ticket for the carriage of goods. The fee for such a ticket is a flat-rate fee and is PLN 5,10 per each item;
- If you are transporting one standard, monorail and one-person bike (for details and instructions for transporting the bikes, please see our "Guide for Monorail Owners");
- in case of transporting an unfolded baby stroller by a person travelling without a child
Remember: items brought to a railway coach cannot pose a threat to the safety and order of transport, cause nuisance to other passengers, or damage their property. If these rules are observed, the journey will be pleasant and comfortable for all.
I don’t have a ticket for the carriage of goods - what to do?
If you failed to buy a ticket before your trip, you can do it on the train at the ticket inspector.
We would like to remind you that when buying a ticket from the ticket inspector, in addition to the fee for transporting goods, we charge a boarding fee of 20 PLN.
However, if you do not comply with the relevant goods transport provisions, then - in addition to the fee for transporting goods - we will charge an extra fee due under the ordinance of the Ministry of Infrastructure of 20 January 2005.
