The history of the whole region can be explored in the multimedia Silesian Museum. From the "Warszawa II” hoist tower located next to it, you can see the panorama of this ever-changing town. A trip to the former workers' district Nikiszowiec will surely be an unforgettable experience. This is a unique monument from the era of industrialization at the turn of 19th and 20th centuries. The characteristic red brick houses with internal courtyards, located in Nikiszowiec, are known from classical movies, such as “Salt of the Black Earth". With a bit of luck, sports fans will experience sports emotions in the famous Spodek hall, while music lovers will listen to an interesting concert at the premises of the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra.
