It is best to start a visit to this town in the market square that houses superbly renovated old tenements and the town hall and also marks the beginning of the underground tourist route. It runs under the market square and reveals to the visitors old cellars and corridors accompanied by the remains of the medieval walls. In order to learn more about the history of Rzeszów, you can also walk along its most elegant street - 3 maja. It turns into Pod Kasztanami Avenue with Art Nouveau villas and the Lubomirski Castle. The only Museum of Bedtime Cartoons in Poland is also situated nearby the market square, with a unique collection of souvenirs related to animated films for children.
