The centre point of the capital of Lower Silesia is the Market Square. The Old Town Hall located there is one the oldest buildings of this type in Poland. Similarly to Poznań, important places for the history of Wrocław are situated on Ostrów Tumski. The gothic Holy Cross Church that houses the Archdiocesan Museum with its magnificent collections of sacral art and the gothic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist impresses with its soaring towers. In Wrocław, you can move to the field of the 18th century Battle of Racławice in a flash. All you need to do is to drop in to Panorama of the Battle of Racławice, where the cycloramic painting is presented. From the Lower Silesia you can easily set out straight to Africa thanks to Africarium located in the Wrocław zoo.
