Instruction for ticket exchange on the e-IC website

If you purchased a ticket and would like to change some parameters of your trip, for example: date, time of departure, destination (only for long-distance trips) or type of discount, then you can change your ticket in the e_IC on-line system.

See for yourself how simple it is:

Log in to e-IC and move to your account.

Go to the PAID tab visible on the main screen menu.

Select the option EXCHANGE for a ticket you want to change.

You’ll be transferred to the site where you can change your trip parameters. At this stage you can also purchase your new ticket. Please remember that new purchase for the exchange option should have similar parameters to the mentioned above. You’ll have to pay for your new ticket - the entire sum for your previous ticket will be reimbursed to you within two days.

Your new, exchanged ticket will be available in the PAID tab, with a remark: EXCHANGE - NEW. Your previous, cancelled ticket will bear a remark: EXCHANGE - RETURNED.

If your new ticket does not meet the terms of exchange (e.g. new route is different from the original one), then in PAID tab please find your previous, original ticket and click the RESIGN button.

Then, select the option RETURN, and select your trip parameters again. Your ticket will be returned automatically and a “compensation fee” (15%) shall be deduced from the original sum, in accordance with existing rules and regulations.




Your time to change the carriage agreement before commencing your trip.

The passenger with a single ticket may exchange the purchased ticket through the e-IC service:
  • ticket with seat reservation or without the guarantee of a seat - 5 minutes prior to the departure
  • ticket with seat reservation in a Comfort Zone - 5 minutes prior to the departure
  • ticket with seat reservation in a couchette/sleeping car - 5 minutes prior to the departure.
