What is the special offer?

PKP Intercity has prepared a special offer for registered pilgrims, i.e. the WYD Krakow 2016 ticket, allowing you to buy single tickets for 3 direct TLK or IC class 2 train trips with seat reservations on all routes for only PLN 149. The offer is valid from 16 July to 15 August 2016.

Who can use the offer?

The WYD Krakow 2016 offer is available for all registered pilgrims with a WYD number. The number is allocated after prior registration on the WYD websites. WYD Krakow 2016 participants can register online by filling out a special registration form available from the organiser’s website (www.krakow2016.com). The WYD ticket is not available for persons not holding the pilgrim’s number.

Where can I buy the WYD ticket?

The ticket is available via the e-IC online purchase system

  • To buy the ticket, create an account in the online e-IC ticket purchase system.
  • After logging on to an individual user account, select the WYD Krakow 2016 special offer, giving your full name, pilgrim number, and the number of your photo ID. You will be asked to produce the ID every time your ticket is checked. Note! No seat reservation is provided for a ticket you’ve just purchased, and you will need to obtain it later from the relevant website.

How to use the ticket?

You can take three single trips with the WYD Krakow 2016 ticket. Each travel requires seat reservation available from e-IC. Seat reservation contains date, route, train number, carriage number, and seat number. The ticket without the related seat reservation is invalid.

  • To make a trip, seat reservation must be downloaded from the e-IC online ticket purchase system 15 minutes prior to departure at the latest.
  • The ticket and the accompanying seat reservation must be then printed out on a blank A4 paper, or saved on a portable USB device in PDF format.
